INDUSTRIE 4.0 AWARD 2021: DIGITALISATION PROJECTS WANTED
The application phase for the renowned "Industrie 4.0 Award" has started. Take the chance to nominate a successfully implemented digital project for the award! We are looking for award winners within the categories "Smart Factory", "Smart Supply Chain Management" and "Smart Products & Services".
If you have implemented an Industrie 4.0 solution - whether area-wide or as a proof of concept - you are qualified to participate in the competition. You can find out more about the application process, the jury and the previous winning projects on our website.
ROI-EFESO IS A SUPPORTING MEMBER OF THE VDI
ROI-EFESO has been a supporting member of the VDI (Association of German Engineers) since April 2021. In the district association of Munich, Upper and Lower Bavaria, we support the non-profit work of the association locally. With around 11.500 members, the district association supports students and young professionals in engineering and offers numerous networking formats with scientific and technical events, MINT and career events.

SMART FACTORY SPACE
High transparency and flexibility of production are among the essential promises of Industry 4.0. In order to be able to fulfill these promises, adequate production technology and infrastructure are necessary.
In an article for the magazine "Produktion", ROI-EFESO Managing Partner Hans Georg Scheibe explains how companies create the conditions for highly flexible modular production with "smart" rooms.
