Explanation: Bad-Actor Analysis

“Bad actor analysis” refers to the investigation of undesirable or harmful actors in a specific context, such as information technology, business or security. A "bad actor" can be a person, group or organization that has a negative impact on a system, organization or community – for example through fraud, sabotage or unethical behavior. Accordingly, bad actor analyses are intended to uncover and combat fraudulent activities in the context of white-collar crime, for example. In social systems, they help to identify and prevent harmful behavior.
