Explanation: Pick-and-Place

“Pick-and-place“ refers to an automated process in industrial production in which a robot or machine picks up objects (”pick“) and places them at a different position (”place").

This process is often used in assembly, packaging or electronics production, for example for fitting printed circuit boards, sorting components or packaging products. Pick-and-place systems work with high speed, precision and repeat accuracy.
