Explanation: Working Capital

Working capital, also known as net current assets, is the difference between a company’s short-term assets (e.g. receivables, inventory) and its short-term liabilities (e.g. accounts payable). It reflects the company’s liquidity and its ability to meet short-term financial obligations. Effective working capital management improves cash flow, enhances financial stability, and provides room for investment and growth.
