We are delighted to announce three new winners of the INDUSTRIE 4.0 AWARD!
Last year, the independent jury of the renowned industry competition selected three winners from numerous international applications, who received their awards at a festive event in early February.
We are pleased to present the winners to you today with short video portraits. Additionally, we summarize the highlights of the award ceremony for you.
BMW GROUP WERK STEYR
With a solution that orchestrates its own AI application and around 200 other Industry 4.0 technologies via a plant's own "InnoLab", the BMW Group plant in Steyr has positioned itself as the winner in the "Discrete Manufacturing" category.
CATL WERK NINGDE
The plant of Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) in Ningde (China) combines all stages of lithium-ion battery manufacturing in its Industry 4.0 solution. For this, the jury presented it with the award in the "Process Industry" category.
FACTUREE - THE ONLINE MANUFACTURER
The Berlin-based company FACTUREE digitizes the procurement process for drawing parts. With its platform solution, it offers access to a network of around 2,000 manufacturing partners who carry out orders for almost all manufacturing techniques - and received the award in the "Manufacturing Platform" category for this.
