Data science is an interdisciplinary field in which knowledge is gained from structured and unstructured data. This involves, for example, identifying information, patterns or trends in order to support or create decision-making processes, forecasts and problem solutions. Data science combines methods and technologies from disciplines such as statistics, computer science, machine learning, big data analysis and data visualization.
