Explanation: mBOM

The term "mBOM" stands for "manufacturing Bill of Materials". A bill of materials is a structured list of components or parts required to manufacture a product. The mBOM is a more specific, detailed form of BOM used in the manufacturing industry to plan and control the production process.

Unlike the "BOM" (Bill of Materials), which lists all the materials necessary to manufacture a product, the mBOM refers to the items that companies need during the actual manufacturing process. This can include details such as assembly instructions, manufacturing steps, work instructions and other production-related information.
