Explanation: Nanotechnology

In nanotechnology, matter is manipulated at a molecular or atomic level in order to produce materials / products with new or improved properties. Nanotechnology is used, for example, in the chemical industry in areas such as medicinal chemistry, catalysis or in the context of materials science.
