Explanation: Product development process (PDP)

In addition to the development of production-ready products to meet customer/market requirements, the product development process (PDP) is also concerned with the safe and efficient transfer of products to series production.

The faster and more efficiently companies implement their PDP, the more successfully they can position themselves in their market. Mastering a PDP is therefore a key success criterion for manufacturing companies. Key parameters here are time-to-market, use of resources and capital, and adherence to the budget.
