Explanation: TPM Award

The TPM Award (Total Productive Maintenance Award) is presented by the Japan Institute of Plant Maintenance (JIPM) to companies that demonstrate outstanding performance in the implementation of corresponding practices. The award typically evaluates aspects as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) improvements, employee involvement and empowerment, maintenance strategies and a culture of continuous improvement.
